Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. The service
Tater AI is an AI co-facilitator for live workshops and events. It captures and transcribes room conversation, answers questions, and generates summaries, polls, and other collaborative activities. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract and use the service for legitimate professional or organizational purposes. Organization owners and admins are responsible for the members they invite and the seats they assign.
3. Plans, seats, and billing
Tater offers base features that are always included, plus optional premium "toppings." Some features are metered — for example, speaker separation is billed per active table, per hour of capture. Business and enterprise organizations purchase facilitator seats; each active member consumes a seat.
Paid tiers, trial periods, and any testing or promotional access are provided at the terms communicated to you at sign-up or by your organization. Fees are billed in advance for the applicable period unless stated otherwise, and metered usage is billed as incurred. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or to capture conversations without the consent required by law;
- Upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful;
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- Resell or provide access to the service outside your account or organization without permission.
5. Facilitator responsibilities
If you run a session, you are responsible for the lawful basis for capturing it. You must inform participants that the session is being transcribed and obtain any consent required by applicable law. You are responsible for the content you share with participants and for how you use the outputs Tater generates.
6. Your content and AI outputs
You retain ownership of the content you upload and the results generated for your sessions. You grant us the limited rights needed to process that content to provide the service (including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy).
AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Transcripts, summaries, and other outputs are provided to assist facilitation and should be reviewed before you rely on them. You are responsible for how you use them.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flying Cloud Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service or its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; certain provisions (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive.
Changes
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Flying Cloud Solutions' place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
